We are currently seeking to hire a Senior Electrical Design Engineer (Dry Utilities Infrastructure) to join our office team in Cairo.

Job Responsibilities :

• Design and develop dry utility infrastructure systems, including medium-voltage (MV) and low-voltage (LV) power distribution networks, street lighting systems, telecommunications networks, and associated utility corridors in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Prepare electrical design calculations, technical reports, specifications, drawings, and construction documents for infrastructure projects.
• Develop and review utility layouts, routing plans, single-line diagrams, load schedules, voltage drop calculations, and coordination studies.
• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and material specifications for infrastructure works.
• Utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit to produce and coordinate high-quality design deliverables.
• Coordinate with utility authorities, developers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure successful project integration and approvals.
• Ensure all designs comply with local regulations, international standards, and project quality requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers and support technical development within the team.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in electrical infrastructure and dry utilities design.
• Proven experience in MV/LV distribution networks, street lighting, telecommunications, and utility coordination for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
• Strong knowledge of relevant international standards and utility authority requirements.
• Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit.
• Experience in preparing design calculations, BOQs, technical specifications, and tender documents.
• Familiarity with electrical analysis and design software is an advantage.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Professional registration or relevant certifications are considered a plus.

Work Environment:
