We are currently seeking to hire a Electrical Design Engineer (Dry Utilities Infrastructure) to join our office team in Cairo.

Job Responsibilities :

• • Assist in the design and development of dry utility infrastructure systems, including MV/LV power distribution networks, street lighting systems, and telecommunications networks.
  • Prepare electrical design drawings, layouts, single-line diagrams, load schedules, and technical reports under the supervision of senior engineers.
  • Perform electrical calculations, including load demand, voltage drop, cable sizing, and lighting design calculations.
  • Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ), material take-offs, and technical specifications for infrastructure projects.
  • Utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit to produce accurate and coordinated design deliverables.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure proper integration of electrical infrastructure within overall project designs.
  • Assist in reviewing shop drawings, material submittals, and contractor technical queries.
  • Support the preparation of tender documents and authority submission packages.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and utility authority requirements.
  • Participate in site visits and provide engineering support during project execution when required.

Job Requirements:

• • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 3–5 years of experience in electrical infrastructure or dry utilities design.
  • Experience in MV/LV networks, street lighting, and utility infrastructure projects is preferred.
  • Good understanding of electrical design principles, standards, and utility authority requirements.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
  • Working knowledge of Civil 3D and Revit is preferred.
  • Experience in preparing BOQs, design calculations, and technical documentation.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop technical expertise in infrastructure design.

Work Environment:

•       Working hours: 8:00 to 17:00

•       Days off: Friday & Saturday
